Walking Weekends

Single Boots has an annual weekend away on the first Bank Holiday in May every year, where 20/30 members of the group meet and walk together for three days. These weekends have been in areas such as west Wales, Brecon Beacons, Yorkshire, Exmoor, Whitby, and Morecambe Bay.

In addition to this, members arrange several weekends away to areas such as the Lake District, Snowdonia, Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, Dartmoor and Pembrokeshire.

We have a number of qualified walk and mountain leaders in the group, so if it is your ambition to walk to the top of Scafell Pike or Snowdon, there will be an opportunity at some point in the programme.

The brave souls in the group camp on the weekends away, while others in the group use local B & Bs or Youth Hostels. There is plenty of opportunities to socialise on these weekends.
