Our new website is launched! All members should have received an email with information on how to log in for the first time. To remind you and to encourage you to do so, here are the instructions again! See your email for an illustrated version.

Step 1 - Open the Single Boots website and click on Login/Sign up

Step 2 – On the Log In page, don't fill in any of the fields. Just click on 'Sign Up'. (If any of the fields are already populated, simply ignore them. Your browser is trying to be too helpful.)

Step 3 - You will see a Sign Up screen with empty fields.

Step 4 – Fill in the details on the Sign Up screen. The email address must be the usual one you use for Single Boots correspondence, the password is whatever you choose

Step 5 – You'll get a confirmation message that your request for approval has been sent. You will also receive a confirmation email.

Step 6 – Wait. The website administrator will check that you are a member and approve the request. This could take minutes, it could take hours or it could be days - so please be patient.

To check that you are a member, the administrator will check that the email address you've used is listed on the club's membership database. This is why it's important to use the email address you already use for Single Boots correspondence.

All being well you should receive another email to say that it's been approved.

Step 7 – Now you can log in. This step is the only one you'll need to do for each subsequent visit. If you tick the 'remember me' box on the log in screen you won't even need to do this step. Although we don't recommend that you tick this box if it's a shared computer e.g. at a library

You’ll now have access to the members’ pages.

We would like to encourage members to submit comments and locations for any photos that are currently lacking them. This will give more geographical information to Google helping to attract new members in our region, as well as being more interesting for us! Please do this via the SHARING page on the members section of the website. We'd like to say a massive THANK YOU! to David M for creating our new website.

See you out on a walk soon!
