Keeping in Touch - July

Your accurate walk details are vital to let members know about your walk and where to meet. We greatly appreciate Sarah’s attention to detail writing our programme, and David M’s work checking it. Sometimes they are finding this a trickier task than is necessary! You will receive a template with Sarah’s request for your details. We would ask that you fill this in carefully to keep her job to a minimum. Postcodes for Satnav and grid references can be sourced and checked on http://gridreferencefinder.com/
Please don’t rely on Sarah and David to do this for you!
Walks Calendar: We are looking for local walks for the following dates to coincide with weekends away. August 5th; August 26th; September 16th.
If you think you can lead a walk on one of these dates, please contact Andy. email@example.com
Evening walks. It’s great to get out on a summer evening. We are still looking for some evening walks to go in the calendar. If you are new to leading, this is a great way to stick your toe in the water! We usually programme these on a Friday or Saturday evening, they can be 4 or 5 miles and we sometimes finish at a pub (although that’s not essential!)
Get in touch with Andy with your ideas! firstname.lastname@example.org
See you out on a walk soon!
