Sunday 7th January

Snitterfield Winter Warmer Soup Walk

Easy 10 miles

 

 

 

Get the year off to a good start & enjoy open views as we walk along The Monarch's Way through Edstone estate returning along the Stratford canal & through fields & woodland working up an appetite. All are then invited to partake of warming soup at the walk leaders' house nearby. Bread & soup provided, contributions of cheese or cake welcome!

 

Sunday 14th January

Section of Wye Valley Way

Easy/Moderate 8½ miles

 

 

 

This is a circular and partially wooded walk taking in a section of the river Wye and north to join the Wye Valley Way, returning to the start point in time for tea and cake – please bring a torch just in case! This is the official Sunday club walk coinciding with the Wye Valley weekend away for members.

 

Sunday 21st January

Waseley and Clent Hills

Moderate 10 miles (500m ascent)

 

 

 

We make our way to Romsley on The Monarch’s Way, climb both of the Clent Hills and return on the North Worcestershire Path. Weather permitting we’ll have great views all around, some delightful woodland and a cup of tea at the end. There could be some muddy sections!

 

Sunday 28th January

Wyre Forest from Bewdley

Easy/Moderate 9½ miles

 

 

 

A circular walk taking in sections of the Wyre Forest, Worcestershire Way and a short stretch of the River Severn through Bewdley. Refreshments will be available at cafés and pubs in Bewdley after the walk.
