Sunday 1st December

Wyre Forest

Easy/Moderate 10 miles

A circular walk around part of the Wyre Forest starting from the visitor centre. This walk offers lovely wooded countryside with some minor slopes There is also open land giving splendid views across this area.

 

Sunday 8th December

Malvern Hills

Moderate 8 miles (2,200ft ascent)

This is a walk encompassing part of the Malvern Hills. After climbing North Hill & Worcestershire Beacon, we walk back down through woodland stopping at St. Anne’s Well hopefully around lunchtime where we can have a warm drink &/or a piece of home-made cake before climbing back up over North Hill.

 

Sunday 22nd December

Broadway “Mulled Wine and Mince Pies”

Moderate 10 miles

We start by climbing Fish Hill and joining the Cotswold Way to Broadway Tower where we’ll indulge in mulled wine and mince pies whilst enjoying the marvellous views of the Malverns and Bredon Hill. (Sherpas needed!!) Crossing the valley we’ll visit some picturesque villages and enjoy beautiful Cotswold countryside before returning to Broadway with time to enjoy its Christmas lights, do a bit of Xmas shopping or just enjoy one of the festive hostelries!

 

Sunday 29th December

Yarningale Common ‘Soup Walk’

Easy 9 miles

Seize the last chance of 2019 for a Single Boots walk through the rolling hills & winter wonderland of Warwickshire woods then come back to a blazing fire in Wolverton for some warming soup
