About the Event

Start at 10.00 am from The View at Hill Farm Marina, Stratford Road, Wootton Wawen, Henley-in-Arden B95 6DE. What3Words ///parties.unfilled.joined There is a large free car park at The View, where we return to at the end for well deserved afternoon cream teas or other drinks.


To share lifts, meet at St Godwald's Road, Bromsgrove B60 3SD leaving at 9.20am


The route begins with a short stretch along the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, passing the Edstone Aqueduct. Then onwards through undulating Warwickshire countryside and some gentle hills with far-reaching views in a clear sunny day. Overall, we will be trodding over rugged grassy paths, grazing pastures or rooted forests grounds. There will be the inevitable quaint church in Bearly, we will cross beautiful grounds of hidden Warwickshire estates and pass through woodlands.
