Upper Arley and the Wyre Forest

Start the walk at 10.00am from the Upper Arley car park, Lion Lane,Upper Arley, Nearest Post code (not very near) DY12 1XQ, W3W: boast.rumbles.trickey. Grid ref: SO 763 802. Do not turn off for the Arley Arboretum and gardens but carry on straight down to the river. Follow the riverside road and the car park is signed at a fork, where you turn left, still along the river bank. No toilets, parking fee £2.00.

Or meet at St Godwalds Rd, Bromsgrove B60 3BN to lift share, leaving at 9.10 am

This is a circular walk including the River Severn, Dowels Brook and a section of the Wyre forest, where we will see beaver dams. We can visit Arley Arboretum gardens café for refreshments afterwards.
