Start 10.00am at Back Lane carpark, Winchcombe (GL54 5PZ; jets.kebab.detective.; SP023284). Parking £1.50 all day. Toilets (20p) at the start.

To car share, meet at St Godwald’s Road, Bromsgrove B60 3BN, ready to leave at 9.00am.

Leaving Winchcombe the walk includes a gradual pull up to Beckbury Iron Age Fort stopping at Hailes Church with its wonderful wall paintings for coffee (Hailes Abbey will not be open) before walking back towards Winchcomebe mostly downhill through the Farncombe Esate and past Sudelely Castle.
