About the Event

Start and parking (free) at 10:00 AM Alfrick Village Hall/Shop, use overflow car park first please. WR6 5HJ, SO748531, W3W defensive.hopping.ensemble. Toilet at the discretion of the shop, ask inside.


Note from Chas, 19 November “Those intending to come on this Sunday’s walk (23rd Nov) please note that the road between Bransford and Leigh, the most direct route to Alfrick, is closed until the end of the month. Follow the diversion signs to Alfrick Pound, then just after Knapp Nature Reserve, turn right towards Alfrick. The diversion is only 1.25 miles longer than going through Leigh, and  as we are now in the “muddy season”, walking poles advised !”


Part of the Malvern Hills, this undulating walk takes in, Ravenhill’s Wood, the Worcestershire Way along the Suckley Hills, Crews Hill Nature Reserve, Old Storridge Common (actually a wood) and Knapp Nature reserve. There are exposed tree roots along sections of…
