A big thank you to all who made our Christmas walk and social such an enjoyable occasion. The Abberley hills are always a great place to walk and David led us on a lovely varied route. We came back to a beautifully laid out and welcoming village hall at Great Witley where a glass of steaming mulled cider was put into our hands (thank you Colin!) Everyone had brought along some food to add into the mix of a simple supper with delicious soups, bread and cheese and tasty puddings. Thanks especially go to Helen K who worked tirelessly in the kitchen to keep things running smoothly along with various other helpers. After supper there were a few games run by Dave P, always such fun and becoming part of our tradition. It’s amazing how quickly and efficiently we can tidy everything away at the end. Well done all Single Booters!
