Sunday 6th August Stanton, near Broadway Easy 9 miles, with some hills

A delightful varied route with excellent walking interspersed with features of historic and architectural interest.

Sunday 13th August Severn Springs. near Cheltenham Easy 10 miles

This delightful walk begins on the Cotswolds Way at the source of the River Thames at Seven Springs (for those who are interested there is an information board and steps down to the source) and carries on up Leckhampton Hill to give wonderful views of Cheltenham and surrounding areas, before moving on towards Crickley Hill and Park from which wonderful views towards the Malverns and beyond can be seen on a clear day. We then join the Gloucester Way which will take us through delightful countryside and villages back to the start.

Sunday 20th August Bromyard Downs Moderate 9 miles

A varied, undulating walk with panoramic views, from Bromyard Downs, through National Trust Brockhampton Estate, returning via Bringsty Common. Lots of points of interest along the way!

Sunday 27th August Crugyn Ci , near Rhayader Moderate/Strenuous 8.5 miles

Between the Elan valley reservoirs and the Wye valley the Elenydd plateau is partially split by a tumbling stream. The walk takes the ridges that define that stream’s valley, ridges which offer fine views of the Wye and Elan valleys. We will be walking to the standing stone of Maen Serth. From there we will cross the road and pass Roman Camp and walk to the trig point at Crugyn Ci via Crugyn Gwyddel, returning to the start via the lower path taking in the waterfalls above Nant Gwynllyn.
