Sunday 5th November

Sulgrave, Canons Ashby, Lois Weedon

Easy 10½ miles

Come and explore the manors and memorials of South Northamptonshire! Taking in the ancestral home of George Washington, the church (13th century in parts) at Canons Ashby, home of the Drydens, and then onto Lois Weedon, and the Henry Moore memorial to Edith Sitwell. Back via Weston to Sulgrave. All this and pleasant countryside too.

 

Sunday 12th November

Studley/Coughton Court

Easy 11 miles

A gentle walk which passes through the grounds of Coughton Court with its pretty walled garden and Anglican and Catholic churches. The route follows the Arden, Heart of England and Millennium Ways and we pass by the site of the old Studley Castle and three other churches at Morton Bagot, Studley and Spernall.

 

Sunday 19th November

Berkswell

Easy 9 miles

A short local walk for whatever the weather. Start at Berkswell, walking via Meriden along easy stretches of Heart of England and Coventry Ways.

 

Sunday 26th November

Malverns - South

Moderate 10 miles

From the start we head south towards Whiteleaved Oak and beyond to King’s Green, before returning via Chase End Hill, and Raggedstone Hill.
